| The methodology and processes developed for such monitoring tools
offer a unique combination of expertise on the substance (developing
countries’ performance and the implication for corporate or
banking activities) and of highly developed know-how on the software
and programming aspects.
The construction of such tools obviously rests on a very close
cooperation with both the “requesting department” within
the company (usually the Financial Department, or the Auditing /
Risk Control Department, but possibly the Commercial / International
Sales Department), and the Computer Department in charge of the
overall software and information architecture of the company.
TAC has a full grasp of all the major software used in such developments,
including database software (Oracle, MySql and SQLServer), mathematical
/ computing software (C++, Java, La-Pack, BLAS…), and presentation
/ lay-out programming (Java, Php, ASP, XML…). The selection
of the best-suited combination of software is decided according
to the customer’s own requirements and computer systems’
characteristics.
Such developments, to be fully integrated into the customer software
and computer structures, usually require a minimum time of about
6-9 months, and costs are comprised between 75 K€ and 300 K€.
